“‘God’ and ‘man’ cannot be mentioned in the same breath. His substance and his work are most unfathomable to man and most incomprehensible to man. If God does not personally work and speak among men, man can by no means understand God’s will. In this case, even those who dedicate their whole life to God cannot receive God’s approval. If God does not work, no matter how well man does, it is in vain, because God’s thoughts are always higher than man’s thoughts and God’s wisdom cannot be fathomed by any man. So, I say that all those who ‘see through’ God and God’s work are incapable ones and are arrogant and ignorant men. Man should not circumscribe God’s work, not to mention that man cannot circumscribe God’s work. Man is simply not as big as an ant in God’s eyes, so how could he fathom God’s work? Aren’t all those who repeatedly say, ‘God does not work like this and God does not work like that’ and ‘God is like this and God is like that,’ the ones who speak arrogant words? We all should know that men of flesh are all ones corrupted by satan and all resist God by nature, and that they cannot be on an equal footing with God, much less give counsel on God’s work. It is God’s own work how he leads man. Man ought to obey and should not have this or that view, because man is only dust. Since we have the intention to seek God, we should not put our notions in God’s work for God to consult, much less consciously try hard to resist God’s work by our corrupt disposition. Aren’t we antichrists by doing so? Are such ones believing in God? Since we believe that there is God and since we want to satisfy God and see God, we should seek the way of truth and seek the way to be compatible with God and should not stand in opposition to God stiff-necked. What good fruit can we reap from doing so?
Now God has done a new work. Maybe you cannot accept this word or maybe you feel it surprising. But I advise you first not to show your naturalness, for only those who truly hunger and thirst for righteousness before God can receive the truth and only those who are truly devout can receive God’s inspiration and guidance. In seeking the truth, we cannot obtain results through arguing and disputing but can only obtain results through seeking calmly and peaceably. The word ‘Now God has again done a new work’ I say refers to the matter of God’s returning in the flesh again. Maybe you do not mind this word, maybe you are very disgusted with it, or maybe you are very interested in it. In any case, I still hope that all those who genuinely thirst after God’s appearing can face this fact and carefully investigate this fact and had better not make a judgment lightly. This is what a sensible man should do.”

“You should choose your way. Do not do things of blaspheming the Holy Spirit and rejecting the truth. Do not be ignorant and arrogant people, but be ones who obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit and thirst for and seek the truth. Only this will be good for you. I advise that you should cautiously walk the path of believing in God. Do not make judgments rashly, much less believe in God casually and carelessly. You ought to know that a believer in God should at least have a meek heart and a God-fearing heart. Those who hear the truth but turn up their noses at it are all foolish and ignorant people. Those who hear the truth but casually make judgments about it or condemn it are all arrogant people. As a believer in Jesus, no one has the right to curse or condemn others. You all should be ones who have sense and accept the truth. Maybe after you hear the way of truth and read the words of life, you think that only one ten thousandth of these words agree with your thought or with the Bible. Then you should continue to seek in this one ten thousandth of the words. Again I advise you to be a meek person. Do not be too self-confident, and do not be too self-important. In what little fear of God you have, you will receive greater light. Investigate carefully and ponder repeatedly, and you will understand whether these words are the truth and the life. Some people may blindly condemn them after reading only a few of them, saying, ‘These are nothing but some inspiration of the Holy Spirit,’ or ‘This is a false christ coming to deceive people.’ Those who can say such words are simply too ignorant! You know too little about God’s work and God’s wisdom. I advise you to start all over again! You should not blindly condemn the words expressed by God because there will be false christs appearing in the end time, and should not be ones who blaspheme the Holy Spirit for fear of being deceived. Won’t that be too regrettable? If after investigating repeatedly, you still think that these words are not the truth, not the way, and not God’s expression, then you are one who will suffer punishment in the end and one who has no blessing. Such truths are spoken so clearly and so plainly and yet you cannot accept them; then aren’t you one unworthy to be saved by God? Aren’t you one having no blessing to return before God’s throne? Think carefully! Do not be careless, and do not be rash. Do not take the matter of believing in God as child’s play. You should think about your destination, your future, and your life. Do not trifle with yourself. Can you accept all these words?”

“Appearance cannot determine substance. Besides, no work God does can fit man’s notion. Wasn’t Jesus’ appearance an appearance that did not fit man’s notion? Weren’t his appearance and dressing unable to show his true identity? Wasn’t the reason why the Pharisees of that time resisted Jesus that they only looked at Jesus’ appearance but did not carefully receive the words of Jesus’ mouth? I hope that each brother or sister who seeks God’s appearing will not repeat the historical tragedy and will not be a Pharisee of the present age and crucify God again. You should consider carefully how you should welcome God’s return and sober your mind as to how you should be one who obeys the truth. This is the responsibility of everyone who is waiting for Jesus’ returning on the white cloud. We should clear our spiritual eyes. Don’t be trapped in those letters of mounting the clouds and riding the mist. You should think about the realistic work of God and look at God’s practical aspect. Don’t be carried away all the time and be dreamy all day long, always expecting that the Lord Jesus will, sitting on a white cloud of heaven, suddenly descend among you to receive you who have never known him or seen him and do not know how to do his will. Better think about something realistic!
When you open this book, maybe you have the intention to research, or maybe you have the intention to accept. Whatever your attitude is, I still hope that you will finish reading this book. Do not give him up lightly. Maybe when you finish reading all these words, your attitude will change. That depends on your intent and the degree of your understanding. But there is one thing you should know: God’s word cannot be said to be man’s word, much less can man’s word be said to be God’s word; a man used by God is not the incarnated God, and the incarnated God is not a man used by God. They are different in substance. Maybe after you read these words, you do not acknowledge that they are God’s word but only acknowledge that they are the inspiration man receives. Then you are too ignorant. How can God’s word be the same as the inspiration man receives? The word of the incarnated God is to open an age, to lead all mankind, to unlock mysteries, and to bestow to man the direction for walking in the new age. The inspiration man receives is nothing but some simple practices or knowledge, which cannot lead all mankind into a new age or unlock God’s own mysteries. God is God, and man is man; God has God’s substance, and man has man’s substance. If man regards God’s word as simple inspiration of the Holy Spirit but takes the word of the apostles and prophets as God’s own personal word, it is man’s fault. Anyway, you should not confuse right with wrong or call high low and deep shallow. Anyway, you should not deliberately refute it while clearly knowing that it is the truth. Everyone who believes that there is God should investigate things on the right ground and should accept God’s new work and new word on the position of a created being. Otherwise, you will be eliminated by God.”

“God appears without being limited to any way or country for the purpose that he can accomplish the work in his plan. For example, God was incarnated in Judea for the purpose that he could accomplish the work of being crucified to redeem all mankind. But all the Jews thought that it was impossible for God to do that and it was impossible for God to be incarnated to become such an image as the Lord Jesus. Their ‘impossible’ became the basis of their condemning God and resisting God, which ultimately led to the destruction of Israel. Many people today have again made such a mistake. They widely preach that God is about to appear, but at the same time they condemn God’s appearing. Their ‘impossible’ has again circumscribed God’s appearing within their imaginations. So I see many people laugh outrageously after receiving God’s word. Isn’t the ‘laugh’ the same as the Jews’ condemnation and blasphemy? You are not reverent before the truth, much less do you have a thirsting attitude, but you are just researching blindly and waiting mindlessly. What could you receive by researching and waiting like this? Could you receive God’s personal guidance? You cannot even discern God’s utterance and word, so what qualification do you have to see God’s appearing? Where God appears, there is the expression of the truth and there is God’s voice. Only those who can accept the truth are the ones who can recognize God’s voice. Only such ones have the qualification to see God’s appearing. Drop your notions! Quiet down and read these words carefully. As long as you have a heart of thirsting for the truth, God will inspire you to understand his will and understand his word. Drop your view of ‘impossible’! The more ‘impossible’ man thinks a thing is, the more possibly it will happen. This is because God’s wisdom is higher than the heavens and God’s thoughts are higher than man’s thoughts, and God’s work is done beyond the scope of man’s thinking and notion. The more impossible a thing is, the more there is the truth to seek in it. The more unimaginable a thing is according to man’s notion, the more there is God’s will in it. This is because no matter where God appears, God is still God, and God’s substance will by no means change because of the place or the way he appears in. No matter where God’s footsteps are, his disposition will not change. No matter where God’s footsteps are, he is the God of all mankind. Take the Lord Jesus for example. He is not only the God of the Israelites, but also the God of all Asians, Europeans, and Americans, and even more the unique God in the entire universe. Let’s from God’s utterance and word search for God’s will, discover God’s appearing, and keep up with God’s footsteps! God is the truth, the way, and the life. His word and his appearing coexist. His disposition and his footsteps are being made open to mankind all the time. Dear brothers and sisters, I hope that you all can see God’s appearing in these words, start to keep up with God’s footsteps and step toward the new age, and enter into the beautiful new heaven and new earth God has prepared for those who are waiting for his appearing!”
